Bodyshop & Service Advisor

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a combined Bodyshop & Service Advisor to join our team at Frosts Cars. This is an exciting, varied role spanning both our Service & Body Repair Centre in Shoreham-by-Sea.

Do you have experience in a customer service role? You may have motor industry experience, or come from a different sector and find the motor industry an exciting prospect. Either way, we have just the role for you!

Reporting to the Aftersales Director, you will be a well-organised individual who thrives in a challenging environment, always wanting to achieve and perform at your very best.

Key Responsibilities – Bodyshop

Welcoming customers to our Body Repair Centre;
Taking customer bookings over the phone, email and in person;
Preparing job cards prior to vehicle arrival;
Accepting and releasing damaged vehicles with our Body Repair transport team;
Liaising with workshop technicians to track vehicle progress;
Invoice preparation and processing;
Liaising with our Sales Department for stock preparation;
General administration associated with a Body Repair Centre.
Dealing with enquiries and taking parts orders;

Key Responsibilities – Service

Welcoming customers to our Service Department;
Taking customer bookings over the phone, email and in person;
Preparing job cards before customer arrival;
Providing exceptional customer service, including courtesy vehicles and collection/delivery;
Keeping customers updated on vehicle progress and ensuring timely collection;
Invoice preparation and presentation;
Advising customers on additional work required with explanations and quotations;
Advising on routine servicing, maintenance and Frosts Service Plans;
Reporting customer mechanical requirements clearly to technicians;
Continuously developing vehicle maintenance knowledge to advise customers;
General administration associated with a busy Service Department.
Dealing with enquiries and taking parts orders;

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm

Saturday: when required.

Driving Licence

A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
