Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, lead a team, and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for retail excellence. This role offers an opportunity to develop leadership capabilities within a vibrant retail environment, contributing to the organisation’s success through effective team management and sales optimisation.

Duties

Supervise and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
Organise and oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
Manage merchandising displays to optimise product presentation and maximise sales potential
Provide training and coaching to team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement
Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and coordinate replenishment activities
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
Implement promotional campaigns and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment
Prepare reports on sales performance, staff attendance, and stock levels for senior management

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
Excellent communication skills; fluency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and administrative tasks
Experience in sales management, with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth
Proficiency in time management to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
Previous experience in stock control, merchandising, and administrative responsibilities
Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
Ability to work flexibly including weekends or evenings if required; organisational skills are essential for managing schedules effectively

Pay: £12.21-£15.26 per hour
