Grace’s Bakery is looking for a Sandwich Supervisor to lead our team!

If you have experience in food production, enjoy leading from the front, and take pride in quality and efficiency, this could be the perfect role for you.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

Overseeing the daily production and packing of orders for wholesale customers and Grace's stores
Supervising the sealing, labelling, and packing of sandwich products to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Leading and supporting the preparation of high volumes of sandwiches, toasties, rolls, hot dogs, and wraps to specification
Managing and supporting team members on shift, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
Allocating tasks and coordinating workflow to meet deadlines
Monitoring team performance, maintaining consistent speed and high-quality output
Ensuring strict adherence to cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards
Taking responsibility for maintaining a clean and organised work environment at all times
Supporting training and onboarding of new team members
Maintaining flexibility to cover holidays, absences, and varying production demands
Covering the Sandwich Manager in their absence
Receiving and acting on sick notifications from the sandwich team in the Sandwich Manager’s absence

We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within food production or a similar environment
Is confident working on their feet in a fast-paced setting
Thrives in a busy, hands-on team environment
Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
Is reliable, punctual, and able to lead by example
Has excellent communication and team leadership skills
Is flexible to work any days between Sunday and Friday
Brings a positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude

Hours and Pay:

£13.20 per hour
5–6 days a week (6 occasionally for holiday/sickness cover)
30–48 hours a week (up to 48 for holiday/sickness cover)
Any day Sunday to Friday
Shifts are variable between the hours of 8am and 11pm
This role is ‘job and finish’, so shifts may end earlier or later depending on order volume
