Care Assistant – One Location, Real Impact!
Jacob Place, Edwin Gardens, Saffron Walden
Part-time ¦ 25 hours per week
£13.26 - £14.56 per hour (enhanced pay for evenings & weekends)
UK-based applicants only. Sponsorship NOT available.

Jacob Place is a Retirement Living PLUS development comprises of a mix one and two bedroom retirement apartments. Exclusive to the over 70s, it has some outstanding communal facilities, communal lounge and on-site restaurant.

You will be working a mix of early shifts, and late shifts, including alternate weekends.

We are offering a £200 welcome bonus when you join us. £100 when you begin and ANOTHER £100 on the successful completion of your probationary.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting residents with daily domestic tasks like appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping
Assisting with social activities and well-being routines
Promoting independence, dignity, and community engagement
Supporting with individual care packages

Who We’re Looking For:

Experience: 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred,
Qualification: Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
Personality: Caring, dependable, and passionate about supporting older adults
Location: Living within commuting distance of the development.
