About the role
You’ll deliver a customer-focused, right-first-time service, managing a varied caseload of repairs, maintenance or planned project works within your locality.
Working closely with contractors and colleagues, you’ll oversee works on site, carry out inspections and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. You’ll take ownership of jobs from instruction through to completion, maintaining accurate records and ensuring residents are kept informed throughout.
This is a hands-on, operational role where you’ll support contractor performance, resolve issues and contribute to continuous service improvement, with a strong focus on quality, safety and customer outcomes.

About you
To be successful, you’ll be/have:
· Experience in property maintenance or building surveying, ideally within social housing or a similar environment
· Experience managing a varied and complex caseload, from initial assessment through to completion
· Strong knowledge of repairs, maintenance or planned works, with the ability to oversee contractor delivery
· Experience working with contractors to deliver works safely, on time and to quality standards
· Strong communication and customer engagement skills, with experience resolving queries and complaints
· Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
· Good understanding of health & safety, CDM and relevant legislation

Our offer to you
Salary: £40,594 per year
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Base: Hybrid working - working from office, home, site and in the community as needed. This role requires you to typically work from the office at least 2 days per week. Your base will be:
· North East – our main office in Chy Trevail, Bodmin, PL31 2FR
· West – Dalvenie House, New County Hall, Truro, TR1 3AY
· South East – Moorswater, Liskeard, PL14 4LN
