Salon Coordinator at Sugar Cane Salon Clapham Old Town

We’re looking for a kind, professional, confident, highly organised and creative individual with a vibrant personality to join our team at Sugar Cane Salon.
As Salon coordinator, you’ll be responsible for the smooth runnings of salon operations throughout the day. This means ensuring that our clients have a calming and memorable experience when visiting our salon. You’ll also be responsible for helping to manage and coordinate our team of artists.
Duties include:
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Making drinks & hanging coats
- Booking system organisation
- Taking bookings & responding to customer enquiries via the following channels: in - person, via email, telephone & instagram DM
- Sharing social media content from shared staff folder onto salons social media pages. (Daily)
- Opening the salon & carrying out opening duties.
- Taking Payments & Calculating end of day sales
- Light cleaning duties and general salon maintenance throughout the day
- Checking stock levels & ordering stock
- Responding to enquiries via the following channels: in person, via email, telephone & instagram DM.
- Collecting orders, sending off refunds, shop runs.
Experience required:
- Receptionist / Front of House Hosting skills
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Good timekeeping skills
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment at times whilst remaining calm and focused
- Highly Organised, helpful & excellent initiative
- Good problem solving skills
- Experience in the beauty industry is preferred but not essential
- Must consider yourself to be a creative person
- General knowledge and a keen interest to learn about the following services: Lashes, Nails, Brows, Facials, SPMU, Massage & Aesthetics.

Contract:
- Full Time & Part Time positions available
Hours:
- Full Time - 9:30am - 6:30pm Tuesday to Saturday
- Part Time - 10:30am - 6pm
