Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of our facilities. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable, as the Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards.

Duties

Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify cleaning and maintenance needs.
Perform commercial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for events or daily operations.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain an organised inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
