Forklift Driver – Counterbalance

FORK LIFT TRUCK AND VALID CAR LICENCE ESSENTIAL

Hooton Street, Carlton, Nottingham, NG3 2NJ

Pay Rate : £ 13.49 per hour

Hours of Work: Start Time of 7.00 am with variable finish times.

Subject to shift end times which are variable, you will be provided 2 x 30 minutes unpaid breaks

Working Pattern: Friday to Tuesday

We pride ourselves on the ability to deliver freshly prepared and wholesale produce to the required specification to meet our customer’s needs nationwide.

About the Role

Operating a gas counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently across the site.
Ensuring stock is decanted, rotated and stored in the correct areas.
Delivering stock to production areas in a timely manner.
General housekeeping duties.
Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any issues.
Supporting production tasks when required including machine loading and occasional line work.

Your Experience

We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual who can demonstrate:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential).
A Valid Driving Licence (essential to drive on road)
A minimum of 6 months experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production environment.
You must be a confident driver with the ability to manoeuvring in challenging areas both inside , outside and on the roads outside of the factories.
Good physical fitness – semi-physical role which involves manual handling and use of pallet or fork lift truck.
