Full job description

Sales Executive – Stainless Steel, Steel and Engineering material supply with a focus on Pipework and Fittings

As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in growing our customer base while supporting and developing existing customer relationships.

The role combines proactive sales development with account management and technical customer support.

You will be responsible for:

Developing new customer opportunities through proactive sales activity
Managing and growing relationships with existing customers
Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
Understanding customer requirements and providing appropriate solutions
Preparing quotations and following opportunities through to completion
Building knowledge of our products and supporting customers with technical queries
Working closely with purchasing, operations and warehouse teams to deliver excellent service
Maintaining accurate customer information and sales activity records

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Commercially driven with a passion for sales and customer relationships
Confident communicating with customers at all levels
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple opportunities
Interested in understanding technical products and customer applications
Comfortable balancing new business development with supporting existing customers

Previous experience in engineering, manufacturing, metals, technical sales or a similar environment would be advantageous, but attitude, ambition and the ability to learn are equally important.
