Full job description

Mega Kids World is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role within our busy children's soft play centre and café. We're looking for team members who enjoy working with families, can provide excellent customer service, and are happy to get involved in all aspects of the business.

This is not a role where you will remain in one area throughout your shift. Team members are expected to work across different areas of the business as required, including the soft play area, café, party rooms, reception, and general venue maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising children within the soft play facility
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Delivering excellent customer service to children, parents, and carers
Working within the café, including serving food and drinks
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the venue
Assisting with birthday parties and special events
Supporting the wider team during busy periods
Following food hygiene, allergen awareness, and company procedures at all times

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or over
Willing to undergo a DBS check (employment subject to satisfactory checks)
Willing to complete Allergy Awareness training as part of the role
Friendly, confident, and professional
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
Flexible and available to work weekends and school holidays
Positive team player who contributes to a professional and supportive working environment
Prepared for a physically active role involving standing for extended periods, cleaning duties, lifting, moving equipment, and working in a busy family environment
Available to work during weekends, school holidays, peak trading periods, and occasional evening events where required

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, leisure, childcare, or similar environments would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Desirable Qualifications

Previous Health & Safety training or certification
Food Hygiene certification
First Aid qualification
Previous experience working with children or in hospitality settings
