About Us
Thomas James Bespoke is an end-to-end bespoke kitchen specialist managing luxury residential projects from design through to manufacturing and final installation. We take pride in exceptional craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and a client experience that matches the quality of our cabinetry. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Project Manager to own the delivery of our installations from initial handover through to final client sign-off.
The Role
As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of bespoke projects — coordinating designers, production, procurement, installers and clients to ensure every installation is delivered on time, on budget, and to our exacting quality standards. You'll be the main point of contact for clients throughout their project, and the driving force keeping installation, schedules and communications on track.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage detailed project plans covering design approval, manufacturing, logistics, delivery, and installation phases.
- Define project scope, milestones, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with client and business objectives.
- Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure material readiness and manufacturing slots align with installation schedules.
2. Client Management
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate timelines, updates, and any changes clearly and proactively.
- Conduct site visits and progress meetings with clients to ensure expectations are met.
- Resolve client concerns promptly while maintaining high satisfaction levels.
3. Supply Chain & Logistics
- Coordinate delivery schedules from workshop to site.
- Liaise with logistics teams to manage transport and delivery of materials and appliances.
4. Installation Oversight
- Schedule and manage subcontract installation teams.
- Ensure site conditions are suitable and compliant before installation commences.
- Monitor progress, workmanship, and adherence to design specifications on-site.
- Conduct site inspections, snagging, and sign-off procedures.
5. Budget & Cost Control
- Track project expenses, variations, and approve subcontractor payments.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
6. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure installations meet technical standards, building regulations, and health & safety requirements.
- Maintain company quality control standards throughout every phase.
- Implement continuous improvement measures and lessons learned from completed projects.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, change orders, risk registers, and progress reports.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and performance metrics.
Key Skills & Competencies
Technical
Strong understanding of bespoke kitchen design, cabinetry, and installation processes; reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
· 3–5 years’ experience managing end-to-end delivery of high-end residential or bespoke joinery / kitchen projects.
· Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent installations.
· Strong understanding of installation logistics and site operations.
· Excellent communication, negotiation and client-facing skills.
· Confident managing and motivating multiple trades and subcontractors.
· Calm, solution-oriented approach to problem solving under pressure.
· Proficiency with MS Project, Excel and CRM systems.
Desirable:
· Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Interior Design, or related field.
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes for cabinetry or solid surface materials.
· Familiarity with CAD software.
Working Relationships
- Internal: Design team, workshop team, third party logistics providers, finance, subcontract installation teams and senior management.
- External: Clients, site contractors, architects, surveyors, and suppliers.

What We Offer
- Location: On-site / Hybrid, with travel to sites as required
- Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
- Job type: Full-time · Permanent
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexibility for site visits
