Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. This role involves preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food preparation, culinary arts, and delivering excellent customer service. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional kitchen setting.

Duties

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
Cook pizzas to perfection using various cooking methods, ensuring consistency and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as required
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner to meet customer expectations
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all food preparation activities
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
Experience with meal preparation, especially pizza making, will be considered an asset
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in a professional setting is beneficial
A genuine interest in culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role

Pay: £8.00-£8.01 per hour
