Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and clients. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous, but full training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the cleaning and janitorial sector.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and private residences as required
Change bed linens, organise supplies, and restock amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
Clean bathrooms including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs with attention to detail
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively in accordance with training provided
Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential
Janitorial experience is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if required
Reliable with a strong work ethic

This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces and are eager to contribute positively within a professional setting.
