Full job description

Our team in Orkney are looking to expand our engineering department with the additon of talented and motivated individuals. We are open to considering candidates at all stages of their career – from those early in their engineering journey through to highly experienced professionals.

We are keen to hear from people who are passionate about engineering and take pride in delivering high-quality work. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team where development and progression are encouraged.

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will join our engineering team working across a varied range of projects and responsibilities. Responsibilities will vary depending on experience and qualifications but will include the servicing and maintenance of our plant equipment and vessels throughout our Orkney estate.

We are flexible in tailoring responsibilities and progression opportunities to suit the successful candidate’s level of experience and career ambitions.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for individuals who are motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic about engineering. Candidates should be practical, proactive and eager to learn.

We welcome applications from strong communicators who work well as part of a team and able to demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining and developing a positive safety culture.

Working hours are 40 hours per week Monday – Friday. You will also be required to take part in a weekend and on-call rota.
