Full job description

1x Part Time Support Worker (Female only)

Approx 15 hours per week with regular overtime available

· 3 x 5 hours shifts per week

· 2 are weekday shifts and 1 is a weekend shift on either a Saturday or Sunday

Total hours over 4-week rota: 60 hours

In addition, there is a requirement to:

· accompany the client on holiday to the UK coast with a colleague (arranged at least 6-12 months in advance)

· be able to cover annual leave or sickness of your colleagues, this will include mornings, evenings and weekends

· provide overnight support at home for equivalent of 2-3 week of the year whilst family are away on holiday (to be shared out between the team)

Place of Work:

Clients own home, Garforth, Leeds and supporting in the local community

Pay:

£15.50 weekday

£16.00 weekends

£110 per sleep night (11pm-7am)

We are looking for an additional support worker to work as part of an established support team for our client, with the primary aim to provide 2-1 support to assist with community access and attend a range of activities such as bowling, swimming, rebound therapy and cinema trips. She is a lovely 36-year-old woman with Cerebral Palsy and associated learning difficulties and epilepsy, who lives with her parents in an adapted bungalow. She also enjoys relaxing at home and some domestic and personal care tasks will also be required.

Flexibility over the week is a key requirement of this role due to the changing nature and schedule of the activities.

Essential Requirements:

Car driver, with ability to use client’s own vehicle, full clean driving license required
Ability to swim/use heated pools for hydrotherapy
Flexibility to accompany away holiday in UK for one week
Flexibility to provide cover on mornings, evenings and weekends when required
Flexibility to provide overnight support when required and arranged in advance

Pay: £15.50-£16.00 per hour
