Are you looking to become a dental nurse at a fully private small practice?

We have an exciting opportunity for either a qualified dental nurse or someone who has experience in the dental nursing sector but is still in training at our Peacehaven practice. Join South Coast Dental Centre, a small owned practice with strong values, and take the next step in your career!

Qualifications and Qualities:

Strong patient care skills
NEBDN Qualification required (or if your in the process of)
Dentally Experience preferred
Excellent organisational abilities
Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and team members
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Availability to cover sickness and holiday

Job Description:

Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control and decontamination procedures.
Provide chairside support and reassurance to patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and update them as necessary.
Handle patient queries and provide relevant aftercare advice.
Assist with reception duties when needed, including booking appointments and managing patient records.
Support stock control, ensuring adequate supplies of dental materials and instruments.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for staff and patients.
Undertake ongoing training and development to keep skills up to date.

Hours:

Full time: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30pm. Part time: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30-5:30pm, some days may differ or if you wish to swap them we can discuss in the interview. Potential to increase to full-time at a later date.

Pay:

Negotiable, depending on experience

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour qualified - OR from £8.00 if apprenticeship

Pay: £8.00-£14.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Peacehaven BN10 7PD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
