UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT & OWNERSHIP

Join the dedicated team at Scalford Court Care Home, now under new management and ownership. We’re committed to creating a positive, professional, and caring environment where both residents and staff feel valued and supported.

Shift times 8pm till 8am

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Night Care Assistants to provide exceptional overnight care to our residents. You’ll ensure comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the night, offering reassurance and assistance when needed.

Main Responsibilities

Night Care Duties:

Provide high-quality care and support to residents during night hours.
Assist with personal care needs (washing, toileting, dressing, and mobility).
Carry out regular night-time checks and monitor residents’ wellbeing.
Ensure residents’ comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
Support residents who may be awake, anxious, or unwell during the night.
Maintain accurate records and handover reports.
Keep residents’ rooms tidy and ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained.
Respond promptly to call bells and emergencies.
Respect privacy, confidentiality, and individual preferences.

Team & Communication:

Work closely with the senior night team and day staff to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in handovers, training, and meetings as required.

Health & Safety:

Follow all Health & Safety, Fire, and Infection Control procedures.
Report accidents, incidents, or hazards immediately.
Promote a safe and calm environment throughout the night.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Caring, patient, and dependable
Calm under pressure and able to work independently
A team player with good communication skills
Experienced in care (preferred) or keen to learn through full training
Flexible to work nights, including some weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.34 per hour
