Full job description

Overview
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing damage claims or asset-related administration? We are looking for a proactive Damage Co-ordinator to join our business and play a key role in managing equipment damage cases from initial report through to resolution.

Responsibilities

Investigate and manage damage incidents involving hired plant and equipment.
Review damage reports, photographs, inspection records, and supporting documentation.
Liaise with customers regarding damage claims and associated costs.
Coordinate with workshop and depot teams to obtain repair estimates and supporting evidence.
Raise damage quotations, invoices, and recovery charges.
Maintain accurate records of all claims and repairs using company systems.
Monitor outstanding cases and ensure timely resolution.
Produce regular reports on damage trends, recovery rates, and fleet performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing fleet damage and associated costs.

We're looking for someone with;

Previous experience in a damage coordination, claims handling, fleet administration, plant hire, vehicle rental, or similar role.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work to deadlines.
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working within the plant hire, construction, vehicle rental, or fleet management sectors would be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
