As our digital presence continues to grow across the UK and internationally, we are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Marketing Manager to take ownership of our paid acquisition channels, driving profitable growth through Paid Search and Paid Social advertising.
This role will play a key part in scaling Finnmark’s eCommerce revenue, managing significant advertising budgets and working closely with our in-house creative and marketing teams to deliver high-performing campaigns across multiple platforms.
Role Overview
The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and scaling Finnmark Sauna’s paid digital acquisition channels, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Paid Social platforms.
You will oversee campaign strategy, execution, optimisation, and reporting across a large product catalogue while ensuring advertising spend generates profitable growth.
The role involves managing significant monthly budgets (£50k+) and working closely with our internal marketing team — including content creators, designers, and videographers — to deliver creative assets that drive strong campaign performance.
As the business expands internationally, you will also help launch and scale paid advertising campaigns across new European markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Paid Search Management
Take full ownership of Finnmark Sauna’s Paid Search ecosystem across:
- Google Ads• Microsoft (Bing) Ads• Google Shopping• Performance Max• Display remarketing• YouTube advertising
- Newly emerging/future search platforms
Plan, build, manage, and optimise campaigns across a large product catalogue.
Continuously improve performance through:
- bid strategy optimisation• search term analysis• campaign restructuring• negative keyword management• feed optimisation
Monitor and optimise key metrics including:
- ROAS• CPA• conversion rate• cost per click• revenue contribution
- marketing efficiency ratio
2. Paid Social Strategy & Management
Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across social platforms, including:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- TikTok
- Pinterest
- LinkedIn (where relevant)
Develop strategies for both:
- direct response sales
- remarketing and audience nurturing
Work closely with internal creative teams to brief and test:
- video creatives
- static ads
- UGC-style content
- landing page messaging
Continuously test audiences, creatives, and campaign structures to improve performance.
3. Campaign Optimisation & Testing
Lead ongoing testing and optimisation across all paid channels.
This includes:
- A/B testing ad copy and creative
- audience testing
- landing page optimisation
- conversion funnel improvements
Use data insights to identify opportunities to increase conversion rates and reduce acquisition costs.
Ensure campaigns direct traffic to high-converting landing pages and product pages.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting
Monitor and analyse campaign performance across all platforms using:
- Google Ads
- Meta Ads Manager
- Google Analytics
- Shopify reporting
Build out live dashboards and produce regular reports and insights covering:
- Revenue performance
- ROAS
- CPA
- Channel efficiency
Translate campaign performance data into clear recommendations for improving marketing performance and revenue growth.
5. Product Feed & eCommerce Integration
Manage and optimise product feeds used for Google Shopping and other advertising platforms.
Work with internal teams to ensure product data remains accurate across:
- Google Merchant Centre
- advertising platforms
- Shopify
Identify opportunities to improve feed quality, product categorisation, and campaign performance.
6. Creative Collaboration
Work closely with the in-house creative team (videographer, photographer, designer, and content marketers) to ensure campaigns have the creative assets required to perform.
Provide clear creative briefs informed by campaign performance data.
Support the testing of new creative formats and advertising concepts across platforms.
7. International Expansion
Support the future expansion of Finnmark Sauna’s paid advertising activity into European markets.
Launch and manage campaigns across new regions while adapting strategy to local audiences, languages, and markets.
Help develop scalable advertising structures that support international growth.
About You
You are a data-driven performance marketer who understands how to scale eCommerce revenue through paid acquisition channels.
You combine strong technical advertising knowledge with a commercial mindset and a passion for continuous optimisation.
Essential Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience successfully managing paid advertising campaigns
- Strong experience with complex Google Ads and Google Merchant Centre accounts
- Experience managing eCommerce advertising campaigns with large product catalogues
- Experience managing significant advertising budgets (>£30k+ per month)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills alongside Excel/Sheets capabilities
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and advertising platform reporting tools
Highly Desirable
- Experience managing Paid Social campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest)
- Experience working with Shopify
- Experience launching international PPC campaigns
- Experience managing product feeds and feed optimisation
