Deputy Nursery Manager - Bromley Pay scale BR6 (point17-21) Actual Salary £23,766 - £26,066 (FTE £27,262 - £29,900)

Term time only, working 36 hours per week

From: 1st September 2026

Burnt Ash Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to join our forward thinking and outstanding team. We are looking for a talented individual who shares the school’s vision and passion for high aspiration and achievement for all.

This is your opportunity to join a passionate team and work together to develop the setting into a first class provision, matching the needs of our children and fully preparing them for their transition into school.

Burnt Ash Primary School has excellent standards and outstanding leadership, recognised in our Ofsted report. The school’s ethos places the whole child at the centre of learning. We want this to be mirrored in our Pre-school provision.

The successful candidate will have:

Strong team skills – be able to follow directions, use initiative and communicate clearly

Outstanding practice and be dedicated to promoting high standards in learning.

Secure knowledge of young children’s development and the EYFS Framework.

Compassion, and dedication to an inclusive ethos, with a strong record of engaging parents, children and staff.

High expectations of pupil’s achievement and behaviour.

Enthusiasm for working in partnership with parents, Governors, and the wider community.

Full and relevant qualification equivalent to CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years

Experience working with and supporting SEN children.
