We are looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative (Plasterer) to deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused plastering service across our social housing stock.
You will work on responsive repairs, emergency jobs, void properties and minor planned works, ensuring homes are safe, habitable, compliant and finished to a high standard. This is a hands‑on role where pride in workmanship, right‑first‑time repairs and excellent customer service are key.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering responsive and emergency plastering repairs within agreed timescales

Carrying out a range of plastering works, including:

Internal wall and ceiling repairs
-
Skimming and patch plastering
-
Making good following plumbing, electrical and building works
-
Background preparation (bonding, boarding and sealing)
-
Rendering and external patch repairs where required

Diagnosing defects and selecting the most appropriate repair solution
-
Working safely and compliantly in occupied homes
-
Protecting residents’ belongings and maintaining clean, tidy work areas
-
Using mobile working systems to record work, order materials and update jobs

Managing your tools, vehicle and van stock

Participating in an out‑of‑hours emergency call‑out rota when required
Must haves:
-
Proven experience completing plastering repairs and finishes in domestic properties
-
Ability to achieve high‑quality, right‑first‑time finishes
-
A customer‑focused, professional approach to work
-
Good communication skills with residents and colleagues
-
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering (or equivalent experience)
-
Full UK driving licence
Hours of work:
-
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
-
The normal hours of duty are between 8:00am till 17:00pm and the actual hours to be worked each day will be agreed with you, depending on the needs of the business

There may be some Saturdays on a rota basis
