Full job description

Role: Domestic Assistant 14 hours per week

Responsible to: Manager, Senior in Charge. Team Senior

Purpose

Treat the service users with respect
Protect the service users Privacy and Dignity at all times
Promote Independence of service users
To ensure the all bedrooms and communal areas are kept clean and tidy
To adhere to infection control policies and procedures
To adhere to COSHH regulations

Principle Responsibilities

To maintain a high standard of cleanliness to all bedrooms and communal areas

To comply with the homes policy and procedure for the management of infection control.

To assist with any other additional domestic duties as requested such as kitchen maintenance (although this does not involve food preparation)

To report any malfunction of equipment & fittings that require maintenance.

To comply with Health and Safety at work Act 1974 and COSHH regulations

To comply to food Safety Act 1990

To be flexible to work in the Laundry and kitchen environment to cover colleagues when required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.80 per hour
