Full job description

Overview
We are delighted to announce a unique opportunity for a passionate unqualified Nursery Assistant to join our Nursery. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong desire to support the development and well-being of young children. Hours are fully flexible and can be discussed.

Salary is dependent on age and experience.

Responsibilities

To adhere to the Nursery’s policies and procedures at all times
To carry out other duties and responsibilities as requested by your Team Leader or the Management Team.
To attend staff meetings and parents’ evenings as requested, be involved in fundraising events and assist with the promotion of the Nursery as required
Support the Team Leader in managing daily routines and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights with the team to enhance individual learning experiences.
Contribute to reports, attend meetings and facilitate communication as the child grows in the setting.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
A proactive drive to contribute positively to the nursery environment and support children's learning journeys.
