About Priority Waste
Priority Waste is a specialist waste management company providing nationwide hazardous waste, recycling, WEEE, confidential waste destruction and environmental services.
We provide tailored waste management solutions to a diverse range of customers throughout the UK and pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, compliance and operational excellence.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our leadership team and play a key role in the next phase of the company's development.
This is a senior position for somebody who thrives on responsibility, accountability and continuous improvement.
A Unique Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing business at a pivotal stage of its development.
The successful candidate will initially work closely with the Managing Director and Operations Director to learn the business from the ground up and establish a thorough understanding of our customers, systems, processes and operational requirements.
As the business continues to grow, the Operations Manager will be responsible for building, developing and managing a new operations team from the ground up. This includes helping shape departmental structure, implementing robust operational processes, recruiting future team members and creating a high-performing operational function capable of supporting the company's long-term growth.
This role would particularly suit an ambitious manager who enjoys building systems, developing people and creating operational excellence rather than simply inheriting an existing team.
The Role
The Operations Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day operational activities of the business and work closely with senior management to ensure that customer requirements are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.
The successful candidate will be expected to become a key member of the management team and play an active role in driving operational performance and business growth.
