Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality massage treatments to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to work in a serene environment where client satisfaction and health are the top priorities. The Massage Therapist will be responsible for delivering customised massage therapies tailored to individual needs, ensuring a relaxing and therapeutic experience for each client.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences.
Perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue and/or aromatherapy massages.
Maintain a clean and hygienic treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend suitable therapies or products when appropriate.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow and minimise wait times.
Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and client privacy at all times.
Stay informed about new massage techniques, industry developments, and best practices through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

recognised qualification in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid registration or licencing as required by local health authorities.
Proven experience in delivering a variety of massage techniques with excellent client care skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to listen attentively to clients’ needs.
Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends if required.
A professional demeanour with a friendly approach that fosters client trust and comfort.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to massage therapy practice.
