Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner Bank Staff to join our team on a flexible basis. This role involves supporting the daily operations of our nursery, providing high-quality care and education to children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a caring and professional attitude. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in early childhood education within a nurturing environment.

Duties

Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging activities that support children's development and learning.
Supervise children during play, meal times, nap times, and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
Support the implementation of nursery policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment for children’s learning and well-being.
Support children's individual needs by providing personalised care and attention.
Contribute to record keeping, including observations of children's progress and daily reports.
Assist with organising nursery routines and activities as required.

Skills

Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings, with knowledge of early childhood education principles.
Strong management and organisational skills to support daily nursery operations.
Leadership qualities to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Experience working with children across different age groups within a nursery environment.
Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times.
Valid driving licence is desirable for supporting nursery activities outside the premises. This role is suitable for individuals passionate about early childhood development who are committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment for young learners. All positions are paid, reflecting the importance of each team member's contribution to our nursery community.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
