We are excited to be taking on the iconic The Boathouse in Widbrook, Bradford on Avon, and we’re looking for a passionate and reliable Line Chef to join our kitchen team as we transform it into the flagship destination of the area.

With a vision centred around atmosphere, unique and memorable events, and high-quality food, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and wants to be part of something exciting.

The Role

As a Line Chef, you’ll be an essential part of the kitchen team, supporting the day-to-day food operation and ensuring every dish leaving the kitchen meets our high standards.

You’ll work closely with the Kitchen Manager and wider team to deliver consistent, high-quality food in a busy service environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard
Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your section
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
Assist with food prep and stock rotation
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
Ensure food is presented to a high standard before service

About You

Previous experience in a kitchen or similar role with a level 2 food hygiene certificate.
Passion for food and attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Willingness to learn and develop within the role
Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
