Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations at Montigo resorts at Charlton House. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, ensure operational efficiency, and uphold the organisation’s reputation for quality service.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently.
Organise work schedules and assign tasks to team members effectively.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain quality standards.
Provide training and guidance to staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Support staff development through ongoing coaching and performance reviews.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping or hospitality industry.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Demonstrable customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Valid driving licence is preferred for operational flexibility.
Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively, fostering a positive working environment.
