As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a highly organised, professional, and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) & Administrative Coordinator to join our team. The Role
The successful candidate will provide administrative and organisational support to the management team while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
This is a varied position that requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and the confidence to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
You will be working closely with company management and will play an important role in maintaining customer relationships, coordinating enquiries, managing administration, and supporting business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Managing and organising company emails and correspondence
- Maintaining accurate customer and project records
- Updating databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems
- Organising digital and physical paperwork
- Preparing documents, reports, and business correspondence
- General office administration and clerical support
Customer Communication
- Answering incoming telephone calls professionally
- Responding to customer enquiries via email and phone
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, and site visits
- Taking accurate messages and ensuring follow-up actions are completed
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
Lead & Enquiry Management
- Managing incoming customer enquiries
- Monitoring and responding to Checkatrade leads
- Recording and tracking customer communications
- Supporting the conversion of enquiries into appointments and projects
Project & Business Support
- Assisting with quote preparation and administrative pricing support
- Coordinating diaries and scheduling meetings
- Supporting project administration where required
- Attending meetings and taking notes when necessary
- Assisting management with various operational tasks
Additional Duties
As a small and growing business, flexibility is important. The successful candidate may occasionally be asked to assist with other reasonable business-related tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous administrative, office, customer service, or PA experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- High level of attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and professional approach to work
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Google Workspace
- Experience using CRM or database systems
- Experience with quoting, scheduling, or project administration
- Knowledge of the construction, joinery, or home improvement sector
- Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software such as QuickBooks

Training & Development
Full training will be provided.
