Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Sales Assistant to join our dynamic sales team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop essential skills in sales, negotiation, and customer service within a professional environment. The role involves supporting the sales process, engaging with clients, and gaining valuable industry experience. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and willing to progress, and possess strong communication skills.

Duties

Taking customer orders (phone, email and in-person).
Assist with goods in goods out, ensuring deliveries are checked and received correctly.
Picking goods for deliveries to be made.
Processing sales and orders on the system.
General sales office administration

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft applications and CRM software
Good organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Experience or knowledge of B2B sales processes is advantageous but not essential
Basic knowledge of construction products and diy is advantageous but not essential
Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to new challenges
