Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Trainee Sprayer Finisher and kick-start your career in the manufacturing and finishing industry! In this entry-level role, you will learn essential skills in surface preparation, spray finishing, and assembly processes. This position offers a hands-on experience where you'll develop mechanical knowledge, gain familiarity with hand and power tools, and understand the fundamentals of fabrication and painting techniques. Perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment, this paid internship provides a stepping stone into a rewarding career in finishing and assembly.

Duties

Assist with surface preparation tasks, including sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal finishing quality
Learn to operate spray guns and other power tools safely under supervision to apply paint or finish coatings
Support the assembly of components using hand tools, fabrication techniques, and basic math skills for measurements
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper storage of tools and materials in the warehouse setting
Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, including handling chemicals and operating equipment

Experience

No prior experience required; however, familiarity with mechanical knowledge, hand tools, or workshop experience is a plus
Basic understanding of math for measurements and calculations related to assembly and finishing processes
Previous exposure to construction painting, fabrication, or assembly work is advantageous but not mandatory
Willingness to learn new skills related to spray finishing, welding, and equipment operation
Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
