Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing friendly assistance, efficient check-in and check-out services, and ensuring every visitor feels valued and comfortable. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and memorable stays.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering personalized assistance to ensure a smooth check-in process
Manage guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person with excellent phone etiquette and clear communication
Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using hotel management software
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, transportation options, and dining recommendations
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary
Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared to high standards of hospitality

Experience

Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with guest services and hotel operations
Multilingual or bilingual skills are a significant advantage, enabling effective communication with diverse guests
Strong phone etiquette skills to handle inquiries efficiently and courteously
Experience in providing exceptional guest services in fast-paced environments
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and procedures to deliver consistent service excellence
