Full job description

Summary:

As an Office Administrator at Octane Holding Group Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office within the utilities sector. This permanent, full-time position based in Bradford, Yorkshire, requires a proactive individual who can manage administrative tasks efficiently, support team members, and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily office operations, including scheduling meetings and maintaining office supplies.
Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate communication between departments and ensure timely dissemination of information.
Support the finance team with invoicing and expense tracking.
Maintain filing systems and ensure all records are up to date and easily accessible.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors, addressing inquiries and directing them appropriately.
Assist in organising company events and meetings, including logistics and catering arrangements.

What we're looking for:

Strong organisational and communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
Previous administration experience is desirable but not essential

Qualifications:

Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an office environment; internship experience is acceptable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office management software.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
