Are you a confident communicator looking to advance your career in learning and development?

A well-established large bakery with deep roots in Artisan bread is looking for a hands on Training Coordinator to provide additional support to the Learning and Development department.

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, energetic with a keen interest and passion for staff development.

The successful Training Coordinator will manage the delivery of the site training requirements for developing staff and the business growth.

As a Training Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:

Coordinate, schedule, and deliver internal and external training across the business, including Induction, Food Safety, Allergen Awareness, Health & Safety, SOPs, Toolbox talks, safe systems of work and Refresher training.
Support employees in developing the knowledge and skills needed to work safely, consistently, and in line with company and audit standards.
Deliver training using a range of methods to suit different learning styles and operational needs, including classroom sessions, on-the-job coaching, toolbox talks, practical demonstrations, and digital learning.
Promote a positive learning culture that encourages continuous improvement, accountability, and safe working practices.
Support the creation, review and updating of training materials, SOPs, work instructions, presentations, and learning content to ensure they are accurate, up to date, and meet operational and compliance requirements.
Gather feedback on training effectiveness and support improvements to training methods and materials.
Deliver training in a clear and engaging way, using methods suitable for different audiences and learning styles.
Monitor training completion and expiry dates, ensuring refresher training is completed on time and compliance standards are consistently met.
Produce regular training reports, dashboards, and KPI updates (weekly and monthly) to support operational and compliance visibility.

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a Training Coordinator, L&D Administrator, Training Support, or similar training role within FMCG or food manufacturing is desirable.
Good understanding of training administration and workplace learning practices.
Experience managing training schedules, records, and competency matrices.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Confident and practical approach to delivering training in an operational environment.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
