Full job description

At The Leading Care Company, we are dedicated to ensuring that we provide exceptional support and assistance for people in the comfort of their own homes. Our mission is to provide an outstanding standard of service for all people in our care whilst recognizing that each and every individual has the right to live as full and meaningful as possible.

We are currently recruiting an experienced full-time Care Coordinator to join our team working 5 days a week Monday to Friday from the hours of 8.30am-5pm. You would also be expected to participate in the on-call rota on a rotational basis. As a Care Coordinator, you will play an integral part as one of the key people between our Care Professionals and our clients.

As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for rota planning, managing client visits and liaising with care workers.

Principle responsibilities include:

- Support the day to day running of the business and ensuring compliance with all aspects of rostering, recording and reporting.

- Prepare staff rotas to ensure continuity in the delivery of care. Ensure these rotas, and all changes, are communicated to clients and care workers, re-allocating shifts as necessary, to cover staff absences.

- Making changes to visits as requested by clients, their friends, and relatives.

- To cover in the field if required

The successful Care Coordinator will have:

- Ideally have previously worked in a care environment.

- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure due to the nature and demand of the business.

- Excellent communication skills as a Care Coordinator

- Due to the community nature of the role, a car driver with access to a vehicle is essential.
