Working hours: 35 hours a week, flexible between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
About the Role
Intersoft is expanding rapidly, and we’re looking for a driven and commercially minded sales focussed Account Manager to take ownership of some of our most strategically important relationships, including Third Party Logistics providers (3PLs) and high‑value direct customers.
This hybrid role blends Account Management, Customer Success, and Sales. You will take the lead on post‑go‑live sales activity, ensuring customers achieve maximum value from our technology while identifying new opportunities for growth. Acting as the voice of the customer, you will work closely with internal teams across Product, Customer Operations, Onboarding, and Project Delivery to ensure customer needs are understood and met.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Ownership
- Manage and grow relationships with key 3PL and strategic customers once they are live.
- Hold regular customer meetings, progress reviews, and commercial conversations to ensure successful adoption and satisfaction.
- Understand customer goals, challenges, and market dynamics to support long-term retention.
Sales & Commercial Growth
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Manage the sales pipeline and lead commercial discussions for assigned customers.
- Work towards achieving sales targets agreed with the Sales Director.
Customer Advocacy & Market Expertise
- Act as the customer’s voice within Intersoft, ensuring feedback influences product development and roadmap decisions.
- Develop deep expertise in the 3PL sector and Intersoft’s product suite to represent the company credibly in all discussions.
- Translate customer insights into actionable requirements and business opportunities.
Internal Collaboration & Delivery Support
- Work closely with the Onboarding Team to support early-life customers and identify future commercial opportunities.
- Liaise with Product, Development, Project Management, and Customer Support teams to ensure smooth delivery of enhancements, fixes, and deployments.
- Help ensure customer messages are on point within Release Notes, service communications, and customer-facing documentation.
- Where required provide customer feedback into post‑implementation reviews and ensure learnings are shared internally.
Customer Communication & Enablement
- Prepare and deliver customer demos, training sessions, and documentation.
- Reframe or simplify technical information to ensure customers fully understand new features or changes.
- Support the creation of marketing collateral, case studies, and customer literature.
Operational Excellence
- Record and update CRM for pipelines, leads, opportunities and customer activity.
- Ensure customer issues, opportunities, and actions are always up to date in internal systems.
- Work proactively with all business units to ensure customer outcomes are delivered on time and to scope.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years’ experience in a Sales, Account Management role.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce, supply chain, or logistics (3PL experience is an advantage).
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to spot and execute sales opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to translate technical information into simple, customer-friendly language.
- Experience working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Strong technical and computer skills and experience with managing challenging pipelines.
- A self-motivated, ambitious attitude with a commitment to delivering customer success.
- Degree level education (or equivalent experience).
