Job Overview – Barista at Shake Stop

Shake Stop is on the lookout for energetic and friendly team members to join our fast-growing milkshake business. As a Barista at Shake Stop, you’ll be at the heart of our fun, high-energy environment, serving thick, indulgent milkshakes that keep customers coming back. If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a close-knit team, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Craft a range of thick, spoon-worthy milkshakes and seasonal specials to a consistently high standard
Keep the kiosk clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
Support basic food prep and maintain top-tier hygiene standards
Chat with customers, take accurate orders, and offer shake recommendations they’ll love
Stay cool under pressure and manage time well during busy rushes
Handle cash and card payments confidently and accurately
Work closely with your teammates to keep the vibe positive and the service smooth

What We’re Looking For

Previous customer service experience is great but not essential — we care more about your attitude and willingness to learn
You’ll need to be confident with basic maths for handling payments and taking orders
An understanding of food safety is a bonus (but we’ll provide training)
You’re someone who communicates well, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and brings good energy to the team
