Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Design & Product Coordinator to join our innovative team. This role is vital in bridging the gap between design initiatives and product development, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. As a key player in our project execution, you will facilitate communication, manage resources, and oversee project timelines to drive successful product outcomes.

Duties

Create and develop new product designs, bespoke customer solutions, branding artwork, print, embroidery, and heat-seal graphics.
Manage product content, including website and customer portal updates, product imagery, declarations of conformity, CE certification documentation, product information, and customer mock-ups.
Understanding of product specifications, CE and UKCA certification documentation, and compliance requirements is desirable.
Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams, as directed by the Manager, to support technical queries and project requirements.
Support quality control activities, including sample reviews, production checks, shipping inspections, and warehouse audits, as directed by the Manager.
Contribute to ESG and sustainability initiatives, including the development of recycled products and sustainable packaging solutions.
Support product sampling, photography, and visual presentation for marketing, sales, and customer requirements.
Assist with logo printing requirements, artwork preparation, branding approvals, product specifications, CE certification and compliance documentation, image editing, photo retouching, PDF editing, and other product-related documentation as required.
Provide general design and administrative support across product, technical, compliance, and marketing functions as directed by the Manager.
Coordinate design and product development activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines
Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to inform design specifications and product features
Lead team meetings, facilitate collaboration through platforms like Confluence, SharePoint, or Workday, and communicate updates effectively
Conduct root cause analysis on project issues to identify solutions and prevent recurring problems
Oversee content management systems and product management tools to maintain accurate documentation and version control
Supervise team members, providing guidance on task prioritization, time management, and performance expectations

Requirements

Proven supervising experience with strong team management capabilities
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Experience in product management, product development processes, and content management systems
Ability to perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues effectively and implement solutions promptly
Proficiency with technical tools like Visio for process mapping and Salesforce for customer relationship insights
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
