Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills in coffee making and food service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the shift.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and professional service at all times.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using basic maths skills.
Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Manage multiple tasks effectively by demonstrating excellent time management skills during busy periods.
Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, fostering repeat business.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista is essential, with on going training to our standards provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills. This role offers an engaging work environment where you can enhance your customer service expertise while contributing to the success of our establishment. We welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the hospitality sector.

We are open 7 days a week so weekend availability is essential, and that you can commute to Knowle, B93.

Job Type: Full-time
