Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team on an urgent basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction painting and decorating projects, delivering high-quality finishes that transform spaces. Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to complete tasks efficiently and safely
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to coordinate work schedules and project requirements
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making touch-ups as necessary
Drive company vehicles as needed to transport materials and equipment between sites

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Valid driving license with reliable transportation for site visits
Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate effectively
Ability to work efficiently in various environments, adhering to safety regulations at all times
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorating materials
Flexibility to start immediately and adapt quickly to changing project needs
