Our expertise covers new builds, modifications, and decommissioning preparation. As part of our growth, we are looking for our future: Workshop manager (M/ W) Location: Bridgwater( UK) Workshop/Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee all operations related to the prefabrication, storage, and dispatch of HVAC ductwork components supporting the Hinkley Point C nuclear site construction. Aim is to support the efficient delivery and erection of HVAC systems on the Hinkley Point C nuclear site, ensuring quality, safety, and timely supply to the construction teams. Your role and responsibilities : <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day operations of the workshop and warehouse focused on HVAC duct prefabrication and materials logistics (delivery from supplier and to site / customer warehouse)</li> <li>Coordinate all deliveries from outside UK</li> <li>Plan, organize, and control fabrication workflows to meet project timelines and quality standards.</li> <li>Supervise and lead a team of fitters</li> <li>Implement and enforce strict health, safety, security, and nuclear compliance policies within workshop and warehouse operations.</li> <li>Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workshop productivity, safety performance, and logistics efficiency.</li> <li>Manage resource allocation, including manpower planning, equipment maintenance, and tooling requirements.</li> <li>Maintain detailed records of workshop activities, inspections, and dispatch logs to support project reporting and audit requirements. </li> </ul> Your profile : Ideally, you have previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a highly regulated sector such as the nuclear industry. You have solid experience in HVAC and team management, ideally gained in an industrial or construction environment. You demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, enabling you to effectively coordinate activities and lead teams. You are committed to complying with strict nuclear safety and quality standards. You are proactive, structured, and able to work efficiently in a demanding and safety-critical environment.
