Residential Support Worker

Middle Barton

SALARY:

£14.45 - £15.15 plus approx. £3,000 to £6,000 sleep- in allowance pa. (£62.64 per sleep-in, working approx. 6-8 sleep ins per month) From April 1st 2026

Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week

Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence is required

We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our family home, caring for vulnerable young people who have sometimes complex emotional difficulties. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.

The role can be emotionally challenging and you could be handling difficult situations BUT you could be the person to change a life for the better.

Ability to remain calm during sometimes challenging situations.
Full UK Driving licence is essential.
You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins.
