Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Garden Maintenance professional to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in gardening and yard work, with experience in landscape upkeep and plant care. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the beauty and health of our clients' gardens.

Responsibilities

utilise hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems to maintain gardens and landscapes effectively
perform pruning, trimming, planting, weeding, and mulching to promote healthy growth
operate landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
assist with planting new flora, shrubs, trees, and seasonal displays
monitor plant health and identify pests or diseases for appropriate action
maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored correctly
collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes

Requirements

prior experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is highly desirable
proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems
knowledge of plant care, growing techniques, and garden design principles
physical fitness to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods
strong organisational skills with attention to detail
ability to work independently as well as part of a team
valid identification demonstrating eligibility to work in the UK

This role is suitable for individuals passionate about outdoor environments who wish to develop their skills further within the gardening industry. All positions are paid accordingly.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
