Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team and support our financial operations. In this vital role, you will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and contribute to the smooth functioning of our finance department. This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to develop their finance skills within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Your proactive approach and keen eye for detail will help us maintain financial integrity and support our organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Assist with processing invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders accurately and promptly
Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and reconciliations under supervision
Maintain organized records of financial transactions in accordance with company policies
Help monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections
Collaborate with team members to update financial databases and spreadsheets regularly
Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies efficiently
Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and data

Skills

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a busy environment
Eagerness to learn new financial processes and tools
Previous experience in finance or administrative roles is advantageous but not required
