Full job description

We're looking for enthusiastic and friendly Full-Time & Part-Time Bar Staff to join the team for the launch of our exciting new Irish pub opening at the end of August.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand-new venue from day one. Our vision is to create a warm, welcoming Irish pub where great hospitality comes first, with a strong focus on live sport, quality food, perfectly poured pints, and a lively late-night atmosphere. We're looking for people who enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment and take pride in making every guest feel at home.

Whether you already have bar experience or are looking to develop your hospitality career, we'd love to hear from you. If you're passionate about great service, enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, and want to help create an authentic Irish pub experience, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers.
Prepare and serve drinks while maintaining high quality standards.
Take customer orders and process payments using the till system.
Keep the bar clean, organised and fully stocked throughout your shift.
Ensure responsible alcohol service and follow all licensing and food safety procedures.
Help maintain a clean and welcoming pub environment.
Assist with table service and clearing during busy periods when required.
Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Support colleagues during busy sporting events, weekends and peak trading periods.

Requirements

Previous bar or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends and busy trading periods.
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
