We are seeking two experienced and motivated Specialist Clinical Coders to join our dynamic Clinical Coding Department at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

This role follows a hybrid working model. Onsite presence is expected as and when business needs require (typically 1 or 2 days per week) to support collaboration, knowledge sharing and consistency as the department continues its transformation.

As a Specialist Clinical Coder, you will:
Accurately abstract, analyse, and assign complex diagnostic and procedural codes using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications

Work closely with clinical teams to validate and enhance the quality of coded data

Take the lead on specific specialties and complex coding scenarios

Act as a mentor to junior coders and support their development

Contribute to clinical engagement, KPI monitoring, audit preparation and data quality improvement
