ABOUT OUR PARTNERSHIP

Sinclair Nursery, part of Sinclair Primary and Nursery School, provides a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for local children. Being situated within a school setting offers exceptional access to extensive outdoor spaces, including fields, ECO areas, and Forest School provision. This allows children to experience and benefit from the natural world every day.

Our dedicated team is caring and supportive, led by early years specialist teachers who also create excellent opportunities for professional development and training.

As part of The Learning Federation Partnership of Schools, we collaborate closely with three other nurseries within our network. This partnership enables us to continually create new opportunities for both our staff and children, supporting everyone to grow and thrive.‍

ABOUT THE ROLE

The main responsibility will be to work as part of the Nursery team in providing an excellent standard of care and learning opportunities for children aged 2,3 and 4. To work with and support children, including those with a variety of academic, physical and emotional/behavioural needs, on a group or individual basis.

Previous experience is desired and level 3 qualification in early years’ education is essential for this position, specific training will be given.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role involves working with children and young people and requires applicants to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post. All applications are considered confidentially and according to the nature of the role and information disclosed.

Grade: Grade 4, SCP 6 - FTE £26,139

Salary: £20,495.81 Pro-rata

Hours: 33.75 hours per week

Term Time Only: Yes – 39 working weeks per year

Pay: £20,495.81 per year
