We're looking for a creative practitioner to join the team at our Dibden site in our Year 7 Hub. Working with SEN students in year 7 after their transition from year 6 at our primary school, you'll be more than a classroom teacher — you'll be a guide, a champion, and a spark. Someone who brings imagination to every lesson and patience to every challenge.

What we're looking for

A flair for making the curriculum engaging, accessible and relevant
Experience with or enthusiasm for supporting students with special educational needs
A team player who thrives in a collaborative, student-focused environment
Commitment to high expectations — for your students and for yourself

The successful candidate will:

Plan and deliver lessons whilst following the national curriculum.
Have a desire to work in an SEN setting.
Be approachable, flexible and adaptable, with a desire to make a difference in our students lives.
Have the capability for supporting children with social and emotional behavioural needs within an educational environment.
Possess effective communication and relationship building skills.
Be passionate about providing quality education care and support to young people.
To intervene physically with our students, when required, using Team Teach trained techniques when de-escalation strategies have failed (full training will be provided).
Demonstrate analytical thinking to improve the quality of pupils' learning.
Build team commitment with colleagues and in the classroom engage and motivate pupils.

Qualifications and requirements:

Based in the UK and do not require sponsorship.
QTS or equivalent required.
Proven teaching experience.
Desire to work in an SEN setting.
Effective communication skills and build good relationships.
Flexible and adaptable.
Full UK driving licence – desirable.
