Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff/Waitress to join our vibrant bar. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and memorable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic pub environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our establishment.

Duties

Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers
Take orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff
Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with safety and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar, and service stations
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
Assist in setting up tables and clearing after service
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Provide friendly assistance to guests, answering questions about menu items and specials
Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or bar settings is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
Proven ability in serving or bar work is beneficial
Good organisational skills with effective time management capabilities
Basic maths skills for handling payments and calculating bills
Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
