About Astrabody

We're a small, private aesthetic studio in Chandler's Ford, specialising in body sculpting and skin treatments: Fat Freezing, EMS muscle stimulation, infrared cycling and laser hair removal. By appointment only, no walk-ins.

The role

Our resident beautician Jade is moving on for personal reasons, and we're looking for one fully qualified beautician to join our small team. You'd be delivering treatments to our clients, looking after the studio, and being part of a calm, premium operation that takes pride in the quality of every appointment.

Schedule (16 hours per week, four shifts)

We're offering Jade's existing slots, which work well around our client demand:

Tuesday: 09:30 – 13:30
Wednesday: 17:30 – 20:30
Thursday: 09:30 – 13:30
Saturday: 12:30 – 17:30

What we offer

£15 – £18 per hour depending on experience
Commission on every treatment package and retail product you sell — paid monthly on top of base pay
Paid holiday and a clear weekly schedule
A large, calm, fully equipped studio with reception, waiting area, kitchen, and free parking on site
Two premium machines already installed: the latest 360° Fat Freezing system and a 4-in-1 Diode Laser hair removal system
Funded Fat Freezing training
Genuine possibility of growing into more hours if the fit works for both sides

Qualifications required

Level 3 Beauty Therapy (or equivalent) — non-negotiable
Level 4 Laser & IPL Treatments — non-negotiable. This is the legal requirement to operate our laser hair removal machine in the UK, so without it we can't bring you onto that side of the work.
Valid right to work in the UK
Public liability insurance (we can guide you if not already in place)

A note on training: we cover the cost of your Fat Freezing manufacturer certification once you join. We do not fund Level 4 Laser training — please apply only if you already hold the qualification or will hold it before starting.

Who we're looking for

A warm, professional manner with clients
Confident with consultations and selling treatment packages — you can listen to a client's goals and recommend the right plan with care, not pressure
Comfortable suggesting upgrades and add-ons when they genuinely fit the client (Fat Freezing → EMS combo, single sessions → multi-session packages, retail products that match the treatment plan)
Discreet, calm, attentive — Astrabody is not a high-volume salon
Lives within 30 minutes of Chandler's Ford
